Nature and it's music.

Ever listen to a song that changes your life?

I was driving along the freeway one day listening to Hillsong Worship’s “ So will I” song and the lyrics

“ If the stars were made to worship so will I
If the mountains bow in reverence so will I
For if everything exists to lift You high so will I”

These words resonated with me like they have never before.

And I began to dive deeper into the meaning of such powerful words.

Why do our mind wander? I wander because I wonder.

began to wonder why all of creation is made to grow upwards. Even buildings to the tallest cities and to the tallest trees.

I looked at the trees swaying in the wind, flowers blooming, reaching up the sky, ivy growing higher and higher and for what I thought. Then I realized, creation is praising the creator always. All of nature praises God, as each grows upwards seeking love from the sun. As if they were all made upwards to reach him higher.

Interesting right? I think so. As I began to marvel in nature and sing so loudly my heart might Burst, I began my everlasting love for the wilderness. I have always loved the outdoors, but this has changed me. I now love creation for being created with me and for me. “If creation sings Your praises so will I”

God is so beautiful in his creation that we have been missing the point. God’s magnificent mind made all of it and we have just began to understand the meaning of what nature does for our souls and spirits.

With each wind that sways through the leaves, the trees are praising. I started sharing this song with nature itself. I saw nature in an entirely different way that day. I looked at the trees and smiled, looks at the colors of the flowers more vibrant than ever.

A harmonious choir of worship made of up trees and
leaves and flowers and the wild.

So I ask you to play this song while you are driving the next time and as you are praising you look around at all of creation and find joy in it. For creation moves along side with you. Never Lonesome.
